The Meadow Manor team works hard to make sure that our facility is a warm and welcoming place.
From our beautifully landscaped courtyard, to our programs, to our live-in pets, we’ve carefully planned the Meadow Manor experience to be as close to home as you can find.
You’ll find us in Taylorville, Illinois, just 30 miles south of Springfield.
We are licensed for 96 beds and are Medicare and Medicaid approved.
Our residents represent a cross-section of life in the Midwest - we have retired professionals, laborers, and homemakers living in our facility.
Our employees live locally and are committed to our residents and to creating a place where they will be comfortable.
Our Administrator
Susan Johnson, LNHA, has served as administrator at Meadow Manor for four years. She has 18 years of experience in long-term care. “Our residents become part of our extended families,” she said. “Meadow Manor is our residents’ home away from home, and we strive to make them comfortable here.”
Many residents don’t stay at Meadow Manor for long. “Last year we sent 50 people home through our restorative therapy program,” Johnson said. “Our goal is to encourage our residents to live as independently as possible – whether that be at Meadow Manor or in their own homes.”

Our Director of Nursing
Bobbie DeClerck, RN, recently accepted the position of Director of Nursing (DON) at Meadow Manor of Taylorville. Bobbie has been employed in long-term care for 24 years and has been employed at Meadow Manor for four years. She served as assistant DON for one year. Bobbie lives in Taylorville with her husband, George. They have four children and three grandchildren.
